Who We Are

Great Valley Baptist Church was founded on June 24, 2001, by Pastor Todd Herbert.  Pastor Herbert personally knocked on over 5,000 doors for a five-week period to advertise the new church before the grand opening service.

Pastor Herbert is married to his wife of over 24 years, Lidia.  They have four children who are all actively serving the Lord.  In addition to over 18 years of pastoral experience, Pastor Herbert has many years of ministry involvement in youth work, work with the incarcerated, family and marriage counseling, addiction counseling, work with law enforcement, and church planting.

From its inception, Great Valley Baptist Church has sought to change people’s lives through the practical and powerful teaching and preaching of the Word of God.  We believe that a church should be a “spiritual hospital” to help people, not a museum where people gather to impress one another.

On October 4, 2020, Rex Gadberry joined Great Valley Baptist Church to fill the interim pastoral position as Pastor Herbert was called by God into a new journey in his service for our most wonderful Lord!

On December 2, 2020, Great Valley Baptist Church voted unanimously to establish Pastor Gadberry as their new pastor.

Rex Gadberry has been married to his wife Cerasela for 13 years and counts it a tremendous blessing having her at his side.

Pastor Gadberry shares the same vision for Great Valley Baptist Church held by Pastor Herbert.  By God’s grace, Pastor Gadberry will continue to lead the church to be a lighthouse to the souls wandering in the seas of darkness of this world and to help lead these souls to the safe and loving arms of our wonderful Saviour Jesus Christ.
