Our Ministries

At Great Valley, we believe that a church should not only minister to the needs of the people who attend it, but that it should also give those people the opportunity to minister to the needs of others. There is a place to be served and a place to serve for everyone at Great Valley Baptist Church!

SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR ALL AGES, 10 A.M.

The church provides several Sunday school classes for children and adults. The Sunday school time is a great opportunity to learn God’s Word in a smaller class setting and to get to know others in the church more closely.

THE BUS MINISTRY

Each Sunday, we provide free transportation to church for both children and adults who would not be able to come to church any other way. The bus ride to church is fun and rewarding. Areas to serve in the bus ministry include bus drivers and bus workers.

THE YOUTH MINISTRY

At Great Valley, we believe that the youth are the future of the church. We believe in establishing a strong spiritual foundation in the life of each young person that attends the church. Youth Sunday school classes, activities, camps, and conferences throughout the year help to make the young people at Great Valley some of the best kids that you will ever meet and kids that love the Lord.

SPECIAL FORCES BOYS’ CAMP

Founded in 2015, the Special Forces Boys’ Camp was established to primarily reach boys in female-led homes and help them become men of courage, honor, and integrity. Each year, over 100 boys are served through three camps. In addition to providing many fun and challenging activities, the boys are given life-skill training. Mentors are provided for each boy that attends our camp to help them throughout their lives, as needed.

MEN AND LADIES’ MINISTRIES

A full weekly schedule of church services along with special conferences, banquets, and activities throughout each year help to strengthen the faith, the homes, and the relationships of the adults who attend the church.

THE PUBLIC SCHOOL MINISTRY

Our church has “adopted” a local elementary school. We host two major outreaches at the school for Christmas and Easter each year as well as helping with other events. We oversee a student-led Bible Club that serves approximately 50 students each week. We are privileged to serve over 600 students and their families through this ministry.

THE NURSING HOME MINISTRY

For over 18 years, we have conducted a Sunday afternoon service at an area nursing home. This ministry is of great encouragement to both the nursing home residents and to those from our church who provide the ministering.
